The increase in hiring of software engineers has improved the city's economy and now 10% of the LA economy is tech-based.

The average base salary range for a software engineer in LA is $130,791- $151,128

Los Angeles continues to be one of the top cities with the highest volume of tech job postings per month, outpacing its neighbor San Francisco.

According to dot.LA, last year, Los Angeles was the only major metro area whose wage growth increased while also outpacing inflation.

"LA-Tech.org connects LA's tech community to talented underrepresented individuals in Los Angeles.
