Natives in Tech: Nucamp's Coding Bootcamp Scholarship for Native Americans
Last Updated: January 8th 2023
Available to anyone at least 18 years old who is a member of a federally recognized tribal nation.
In partnership with the nonprofit Natives in Tech (NiT), we've created a scholarship named after the organization to help Native Americans launch technology careers.
The Natives in Tech scholarship is the newest of many Nucamp initiatives designed to support communities with reskilling and DEI programs.
We are eager to welcome Native American students into already diverse cohorts where women and people of color make up over 50% of students.
The scholarships further our mission to help all students learn marketable coding skills and fill high-demand roles in the digital economy.
We're offering a $50,000 scholarship fund for Native Americans that meet the criteria to help cultivate a tech ecosystem of Native technologists.
“Nucamp is honored to work with Natives in Tech to launch a new generation of Native technologists,” said Ludovic Fourrage, CEO and founder of Nucamp. “This scholarship aligns with our goal to offer coding instruction to anyone who wants to learn and has 15-20 hours a week. Our remote learning option means members from any tribal nation can receive a Natives in Tech + Nucamp Scholarship and join a built-in community through our NiT partner.”
The scholarship details and instructions for how to apply can be found on the Natives in Tech scholarship page.
